Hi, y’all! I’m so glad you’re here.
Southernly Inspired is more than just a business name, it’s a reflection of who I am. A Southern girl, born and raised on the Florida-Georgia line, where family, faith, creativity, and hard work were a way of life. Those values continue to inspire everything I create today.
My journey with Southernly Inspired began as a creative outlet and a dream that grew into a downtown storefront in Wichita Falls, Texas. My family helped create my dream into a reality. We poured our hearts into completely remodeling and renovating the space and creating a shop that offered home décor, handmade goods, furniture makeovers, home staging and design services, and a women’s boutique. It was a place where creativity and community came together.
When COVID changed the world, I made the difficult decision to close my storefront and focus on serving others through my career as a registered nurse. Community health became my priority during a time when people needed it most.
But creativity has always been a part of who I am.
As a wife, mother, nurse, and maker, life keeps me busy, but creating is where I find joy and balance. Whether I’m building something from wood, engraving a custom gift, creating laser-cut designs, pouring epoxy pieces, painting furniture, designing, or tackling a DIY project around my home, I love bringing ideas to life and sharing them with others.
My husband’s military career brought us to Sheppard Air Force Base years ago, and Wichita Falls has become home. It’s where we’ve built our life, raised our family, and created countless memories together.
The photo you see on this page represents my whole heart—my family. They are my greatest blessing and the reason behind everything I do. Southernly Inspired exists because of the love, support, and encouragement they’ve given me throughout every chapter of this journey.
Today, Southernly Inspired has evolved into a space where I can share my creativity, projects, handmade creations, and inspiration with others. You’ll find a little bit of everything here—because that’s who I am. A creator, a dreamer, a nurse, a wife, a mother, and a Southern girl who believes that beautiful things can be made with your own two hands.
Thank you for stopping by and being part of my story.
